Who we are
The Immortal Snail is developed and operated by Albin Lennstrand ("we", "our", "us"). Contact: support@virtualstudio.se
By downloading or playing The Immortal Snail you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. THE SERVICE
We provide a mobile game called The Immortal Snail ("the Game") available on iOS and Android. We reserve the right to modify,
update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Game at any time without notice.

2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Game. By using the Game you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. YOUR ACCOUNT
The Immortal Snail uses a sessionless system — your progress is stored on our servers and tied to your device by default. No
account registration is required to play.
You may optionally link your session to a social account (Google or Apple ID) to enable cross-device access and protect your
progress. Once linked, your session is authenticated through your social provider and is no longer tied to your device ID alone.
You are responsible for maintaining access to your linked social account. We are not responsible for any loss of progress
resulting from loss of device access, unlinking, or unauthorized access to your social account.

4. LEADERBOARDS & USERNAMES
You may choose a public display name to appear on our leaderboards. By doing so you agree that:
- Your chosen name will be visible to all players globally.
- You will not use names that are offensive, hateful, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate.
- We reserve the right to remove or modify any name at our sole discretion without notice.
- We reserve the right to remove you from the leaderboard for any reason including abuse, cheating, or inappropriate conduct.

5. IN-APP PURCHASES
The Game offers optional in-app purchases. By making a purchase you agree that:
- All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) and are subject to their respective terms.
- Purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
- We are not responsible for purchases made without your authorization on your device.
- Virtual currency and items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be transferred, traded, or redeemed for cash.
For refund requests, contact support@virtualstudio.se or your platform provider directly.

6. LOCATION DATA
The Game uses your device's GPS location to power core gameplay features. By enabling location permissions you consent to this use as described in our Privacy Policy. You can withdraw consent at any time by disabling location permissions in your device settings, though some features may stop working.

7. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, or use third-party tools to gain an unfair advantage.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify any part of the Game.
- Use the Game for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to disrupt or interfere with our servers or other players' experience.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any violation of these terms.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content in the Game including graphics, characters, names, code, and lore is owned by Albin Lennstrand unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Game without our written permission.

9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The Game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Game will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times. We are not responsible for any data loss or device issues arising from use of the Game.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Albin Lennstrand shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden, except where prohibited by your local consumer protection laws.

12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Game after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
